"Eddie" at the Edventure Children's Museum

When seated, "Eddie" is 40-feet-tall. The world's largest child! He is the centerpiece of a children's musuem in Columbia, South Carolina. His backside is open and is an interactive interpretive exhibit. Children can climb through a 3-story climbing structure that gives them access to gross motor interactive activities within Eddie, exploring the functions of the body. As senior exhibit designer for Larson, Leonard worked with the museum educator's and Haizlip Architects, to develop the initial concept through schematic design to arrive at an approved character study, interpretive experience and design/build proposal.
